Bishop Westcott Machine for busy Vicars!

Brooke Foss Westcott (1825-1901), that is. Bible Scholar.

Someone once asked him "Are You Saved?" and he shot back, quick as a flash, "Young lady, do you mean sotheis, sezosmenos, or sozomenos?"

Do you wish you could do that? Well, now you can!

The Resurgence Greek Project will print a Greek New Testament on the screen and, as you run your cursor over the text, the words come up parsed and defined before your very eyes in real time. It will also produce a vocabulary list for any passage.

Of course there's far more to a language than just vocabulary and grammar, but, say what you will, it's free and it could be just the job for busy vicars with rusty Greek who need to impress the PCC in a hurry.

Not that any of those exist, of course.
