Do a ChoreLucy and I are away helping to lead an Engaged Encounter Weekend, of which more later, so there are plenty of practical chores around the party on Saturday night — I pitched in, and hoped one of them counted. Back home, and I suspect this is true for many vicars, the challenge is not to disappear after meals off into the study leaving everyone else to clear up the carnage in the kitchen. I’ll have to work on that one...
